There are a few important things to know...

I'm not a "tattoo shop"

After a few decades of busy shop ownership, I decided to downsize - reduce & simplify. Allegheny Art is a private studio in my home. I still work 40hrs every week: Over the weekends Friday thru Monday. I don't work at all (not even messages) Tues, Wed or Thurs~ so your patience is greatly appreciated!

Knowing all of this this up-front should make the following read more understandable...

Extra peeps ...

Small group tattoos are cool, and you can bring support folks and drivers along if needed. There's a small waiting area, so just keep it chill and quiet like you would at the doctor's office.

*Remember, only the person getting the tattoo can hang out in the tattoo room.

Foremost - Memorials

I empathize and am sorry for your loss. However, my personal stance on this issue is firm: I will not use tattooing as a means to commemorate or memorialize the deceased.

*Please consider me for other opportunities!

NOOOoooooo!!!

I’m not a fan of strong scents. Most basic hygiene stuff is usually fine but some can be over the top. Things like Gain, Irish Spring, Old Spice, body sprays, perfumes, oils, and certain hairsprays are just too much for me. Basically, if it’s meant to make you smell extra good, I might have to ask you to reschedule.

Just me & YOU.

It called the "Suite" because it's calm, quiet, private & relaxed ... not what you'd expect of the average 'tattoo shop'. It's closed to walk-ins, spectators, phones being answered and any other distractions!

That being said: Having friends and family around can really be a big distraction for both of us. It’s kind of like going to the dentist or getting a haircut—it's better if you come solo for the procedure. We really need to connect and stay focused. Since this is a permanent thing, I prefer it's just me & you in the room.

Last but not least ...

Forget about the showing up early thing. I am excited to see you at our scheduled time – not a minute sooner! My schedule is busy, and I'm always trying to catch up on messages too. Let’s enjoy our time together without the pressure of arriving earlier than expected!

Thanks for considering my work!
